algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Arabic Pattern-please help

Hello all,

i am new in grasshopper and have a problem with arabic pattern.

I have a polygon and want to extend the lines to make an intersection. so i can transform multiple ornaments, like in the picture, (hexagon in triangle...)

But i made a long list item to achieve this, so my ornament is not flexible    anymore. Can anybody help me to make it easier? :) THX

Hi.

Your definition is not parametric at all. Because each time your base polygon is changed, it is necessary to prepare a corresponding platonic solid.

Check attached. For now, you can choose Icosahedron & Dodecahedron.
