algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Why does this function return approximate dimensions instead of exact ones?

The object description in Rhino returns exact dimensions. What's the difference?

Hi Wiet,

a curved surface does not have exact width and height dimensions. It might be narrow in one place and wide in another. Only rectangular surfaces have exact dimensions. If you want an exact size, you'll have to extract the iso-curve at the given u or v parameter, then measure the length of that curve.
