Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

hi

I'm trying to to apply a paper folding pattern to a curve surface ( a loft ), I saw some similar discussion in the forum, but all of them are a little different from my intentions

actually, I think, my issue is to create a vector normal to the curve surface

I'll attach the definition

thanks

hi

ok, in the Rhino model there are just the sections for the loft (to do with grasshopper) , the picture of the paperfold holder is similar to what I'm trying to do, my aim is to make a definition capable to fit different round surface ( if the section changes the definition has to follow ). Actually the definition works on a plane ( cause I have used the z axis as vector to fold the surface) but I don't know how to catch the normal vector from a curve surface, in this particular case I cant use "evaluate surface" cause the surface is not divided orthogonally...

thanks

Federico
