Analyze panels in relation to "ideal" dimensions

Hi,

I have a grid on a free form surface made with paneling tools, surface distance. Is there a way to analyze the panels in relation to the "ideal" panel set in the 'surface distance'?

For example if I've set the surface distance to du=10 and dv=5, I see the "ideal" panel as 10x5. But due to the double curved surface the panels get other dimensions. I would like to see the difference in each panel. Is it possible?
