adding a origami pattern onto a surface

Hello guys, Im been trying for a while how could I use a origami patter on a surface that I have, I`ve tried to use box morphing but doest work at all on this surface, also i`ve to divide the surface in square sections (wires) andmake the foldings with the points across the surface but is a mess,

please I need some help and guidence would be good because i want to understand how could I make it.
