Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi, I've created a form definition but now I'm trying to create a pattern with circles or polygons, that follow the face of a complex surface and I'm not sure which component or method to use. I thought Horizontal or Perpendicular frames might work, but it doesn't seem correct.

Also, I'd like to find the intersection points of two lines I've created to make a cross pattern. I'm not sure how to do this efficiently - so any help is appreciated.

Hey Will thanks for the tip! I couldn't quite apply that here - but it's a good solution to know about for other applications!

I was able to define the closest surface points to add curves to the irregular form. Thanks to Nick Senske's great video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEjsP7o5JwE. I've uploaded an updated definition here. Although, I haven't figured out how to find the intersection points of two lines following this same surface - I'll keep trying!
