algorithmic modeling for Rhino

A beginning stage question

Hi guys, I m totally new in grasshopper and I m working on my first gh final submission. In my script, I want to extrude a surface in the direction of normal of a slant surface. But I cannot control the thickness of the extrusion like shown in the image as it is not in X,Y OR Z direction. How could I fix it up? Thanks guys!!!

There is an Amplitude component under Vectors. One input is for your normal direction and the other is for the magnitude.
