algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi at all,

I want to buy a 3d-printer for myself. As an architecture student I want to print parts of some building-models, just as prototypes of product-design.
I'm not really familiar with that big amount of printers.

For me it is important to have a large constructed space with a good resolution of the printed model.

My budget is about 900€ (1200$)
At the moment I thought, to buy a FelixPrinter or a Solidoodle (3rd Generation) .

What do you think about it? Is there a better one for my conditions?

Hope you guy's can help me

Hey Michael,

A great source for 3D Printers is Kickstarter because they are crowdfunding projects, so you can get the printers for a lower price. One such example is DeltaMaker. For more details click this link for the DeltaMaker Kickstarter page: http://kck.st/Xbgx1X

Hope this helps! Good luck with everything!

Best,

Ali

Hi Ali,

thanks for writing! The DeltaMaker looks great, but I have already ordered a Solidoodle 3rd generation in last week. I hope, I will be satisfied with it :)

I still waiting for shipping, if anyone is interested, I will show up some results here.

Regards,
Michael

Here is my first printing test with my new solidoodle 3:
