3d dxf files to nurbs surfaces

Hi, I am trying to import convoluted 3d dxf surfaces into Rhino, and here I want to edit them (e.g. change shape slightly by moving points, or extending surface edges). Is there an easy way to convert a dxf file to a nurbs surface for editing as Rhino wont let me edit dxf surface edges. I'd appreciate any help.
