Event Description

The DDF, M.S. Specialization in Digital Design and Fabrication is hosting its 4th Parametric Design Workshop. The workshop is a 6 day intensive hands-on on parametrics. Topics covered are Maya surface meshes, Maya to grasshopper translation, structures with recursive branching and assembly with modules, Curve delams, python programming and more. The workshop environment not only gives an overview on latest parametric techniques but extends throughout the semester these concepts with digital fabrication. The DDF_lab has an extensive shop with Laser and blade cutting, ABS and powder printers, thermoforming and CNC milling equipment. This is again the ideal jump start for the fall semester studios and courses.
