Event Description

 Bill Taylor give an intensive workshop on Rhino Grasshopper parametric modeling for four days in early January.  He has lessons for learning software through the lens of Bio-Inspired Building Envelopes.  With the goal of creating beautiful structures for supporting plant life, students will be stepped through creating grids, shaping geometry and placing adjustable elements, so that they understand how to create a family of forms.

The workshop will take place in a new computer lab at the University of Oregon in Portland, 24 NW First Street at Couch, Third Floor.  Non-degree seeking students can sign up via the Continuing Education Program, http://cep.uoregon.edu// $375 for 1 credit
