Missing Context Menu: Right-click on a component icon in an expanded toolbar list

When I right click on a component icon in an _expanded_ component tab, i don't get the context menu - rather the component is chosen for dropping into the doc...

This means that i cannot set the alias nor delete the components.

If there is a workaround, please advise, otherwise: is it an easy fix?
