algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi,
I recently started using grasshopper and Rhino on my mac, I have a trial version of rhino running on parallels. It was recently brought to my attention that is not good to run rhino on parallels and I will change to a partition instead of a virtual machine. But, in the meantime Ive been learning grasshopper with the tutorials and today i cant launch grasshopper because it gives me the following Error:
Exception occurred during processing of command: Grasshopper
External component has thrown an exception
Stack trace:

data ....
Anyone knows whats the issue?
Thanks
Alvaro

Hi Alvaro,
strange that it would change. Did you perchance install a newer .NET version or make any settings changes to Grasshopper?

The only different thing I did to the computer before starting grasshopper was to install "Parallels Internet security"
Thanks for your reply.
Alvaro
I can only suggest one thing, it probably won't help, but you never know.
Start Rhino and run the GrasshopperDeveloperSettings command. Then check (or uncheck) the box about 'Memory load...". Now run Grasshopper and see if it works this time.

No luck,
it pops the same error when trying to access the developer command
Thanks David
Wow, that's pretty severe. The DeveloperSettings command doesn't do much at all, so if even that is failing something is really screwed. Can you run any other .NET Rhino plugins at all?
Here are a few you can test with:
