Dear All,

I would like to simulate electrochromic glass using Diva. Does anyone know how to model it? Should i use automatic shading?

Many thanks

Hi there. I have a problem with some materials.

I edited the material.rad in notepad but I don't understand how I have to write these two material: metal_railings and metal_treads. I used the following definition but in diva for grasshopper in material it just appear dusty_med and not metal_railings and metal_treads. How I should write the correct definition?

void brightfunc dusty_med
4 dirt dirt.cal -s 1
0
1 .25

dusty_med metal metal_railings
0

5 .7 .7 .7 .3 .2

dusty_med metal metal_treads

5 .5 .5 .5 .3 .2

The minimum illuminance is used for Daylight Autonomy, Continuous Daylight Autonomy and Daylight availability. The UDI illuminance thresholds are pre-set and cannot be changed.

Hello. I want to know about the option minimun illuminance in DIVA 2.0 for grasshopper. For example, if I write 500 for minimun illuminance and then in the output I chose UDI(100-2000 lux) it means that it will going to calculate UDI between 500-2000 lux?

Never mind... Installed the latest GH version and seems to be working now :)

Does anyone get an error message when opening Grasshopper using DIVA 1.9? I just downloaded this version and placed the Assembly file under the components folder as indicated in the tutorials but I have not made it work. Do I have to be using the latest version of Grasshopper? I have 8.0004.

>>Command: Grasshopper

Assembly Resolver initialized

An exception occured during GHA assembly loading:

Thanks for the reply Jeff.  I'll stay on the look out for the updates.  Thanks for this great tool; I'm looking forward to working it into my projects.

Matthew. The installer, tutorials and wiki will be synchronized in a day or two. Sorry for the confusion, we had a couple people pre-beta testing the installer.

Does anyone know how I could download DIVA v1.9 or later as referenced on the wiki?  I am only finding redirects to versions 1.1f or 1.2 beta.  The problem I am having is that when replacing the grasshopper component for the latest available on the wiki, I get a warning that the material library can not be retrieved.  Would this have anything to do with not having installed v1.9 or later?  Also, is there a way to manually direct the material component in grasshopper to the material library text file?  Any ideas?  Thanks
