Hi Thomas,

Can you please post the script?  Check the rhino document units too, if the units are set to mm in your rhino template but the magnitude of the points in Grasshopper assumes metres, you might get collapsing occurring.

Cheers,

Jon

Hi Jon, thanks for your quick reply, attached is the GH file; and I don't think it's the unit problem...

Thanks, I think older versions of the plugin didn't detect the difference between vertex count and whether the polyline was open or closed.  I don't get that error in the latest builds, so if you can please update from http://www.geometrygym.com/downloads

Let me know if the issue persists.

Cheers,

Jon

Hi Jon, I think I got the latest version... I am currently using the version 0.2.6.0

(ggRhino6ETABS2016 v0.2.06.msi (25th July 2018) ETABS2016)

Hey Jon, for your information, I have just tried the same file with the grasshopper in Rhino 5 (ggRhino5ETABS2016 v0.2.07.msi (14th August 2018) ETABS2016) and did not get the error. Seems the problem only happened in the Rhino 6 version.

Was the problem solved? I am getting the same error message in Rhinoceros 6. For the Moment I fixed it by using open polylines to define the walls. The closed polylines worked with Slab Properties for me to generate Areas.
