Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello together,

I'm really new to Grasshopper and Kangaroo. I need them for a student project.

My problem is, that every mesh i create - rectangle, circle or freeform - doesn't grab the anchorpoints that I give to the Kangaroo Physics node.

I even baked the points and then gave them back over a Point node. But every time the mesh just flys away and doesn't fix.

Can you help me with my problem?

I attached one of my testversions for a freeform mesh.

The story behind the theme is, that i want to create a roof with the shape of a leaf.

But the roof should be created out of a few domes. Just like Frei Ottos Multihalle in Mannheim (Germany). Pictures see link: Link.

Thank you

Max

Even with this very simple mesh the anchorpoints won't work....

I just fixed the problem by myslef :D

the anchorpoints have to be on the crosspoints of the grid. otherwise they don't fix to the mesh.

sometimes it's that simple :D
