Following Newton's laws of motion (universal gravitation)
"Comet" paths influence a gradiated grid which then gets surfaced with an ultra-low density marching cubes using the millipede component and a MeshToNurbs cluster found here on the forums.

All the values are relative, and the movement of the planets (due to the relative mass of the comets) is assumed negligible.
