Very cool!  Very glad to see other people working in the GH/Catia interoperability space.  Just out of curiosity, why the intermediate mechanism of Power Copy instantiation for CATIA?  You can embed the same CATIA VB code in grasshopper VB scripting object.

At the moment, the process we're using is specific to the project.  We're using a basic macro to import the excel points into Catia, and then using the Power Copy Instantiator Macro to array the power copy (follow the link above for more info).  We haven't developed a generic application yet but will post with further development.
