Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

This project is an investigation on artificial intelligence apply to architecture.
The aim of this project is to create a passive building skin compose of two membranes allowing with his opening and closing to modulate the light.
The skin facade is generated with a AI-based generative/genetic algorithm able to create a solution, analyze it and through thousand iterations refine until it succeed to get the ultimate outcome base on structural(Min used material, Max stability) and environmental (Max light in summer, Min light in winter) criteria.

Good morning, I’m an Italian student in architecture in the Technical University in Eindhoven. I saw your project, and I found it very interesting. I would like to know if I can have more info regarding the project and especially the analyses that you did (which software are used).
Thanks a lot and sorry if I bother you.
Best regards
Alessia
