ok, to have a line attractor all you need to do is extract the points from the line using "crv cp" component and then treat it as if it is just a point attractor ( i am uploading an example) for the holes, i guess you could take your…

hi Anna, here is what you could do; as long as you know where your points are, you could use "arc 3pt" component just like in the file i've uploaded here. hope it hepls

connecting the dots

oki think i have a simple problem here. Basically i am trying to connect some points with lines (this is basic) however I would like to have the lines offset but still be connected to the same points they were drawn from and have them bed away from the original line. I would also like to have the points act as attractor points that can control the amplitude of the offset.....that might have sounded strange so i have attached a pdf with a drawing trying to explain what i am getting atSee More

attractor line

I just saw your comment + image attached [ sorry I accidentally deleted them :-$ ] ... As far as the model you saw in the photo is concerned, its curves were modeled/scripted in Maya [ MEL] . I just used GH in order to populate its vault surfaces with a rhomboid component [ in order to achieve layering and texture/articulation] ... Please send me your question/image again, maybe I could think of something useful for you [ even though I am a total beginner in GH :-/ ] . Nice meeting you + keep in touch !
