"Installed latest RH5 build and reinstalled latest GH and behaviour has changed. it actually steps through the whole logic OK but shows the No Source Code dialog for interim steps which I assume relates to code inside the GH Kernel. In other words it…"

"Hi David, I installed RH5 and the 02/2011 GH release on my workstation (Win XP Vs2010) with the same symptoms. I recorded a screencast which shows you that it fails on the very first step: Step Error Thank for looking into this."

"Well yes, it tells me in what source code file and on what line (ideally) the error occured. It's odd it couldn't find any more information as I do ship grasshopper.pdb (Programmer Data Base) with the installer which is supposed to help…"

"David, On loading in RH5 it starts hitting breakpoints OK but then throws an error. Looks like it is looking for some hardcoded file path. "

"Yes, you need to start Rhino4.exe (or Rhino.exe in the case of Rhino5) from here. When you start debugging it should start Rhino. Your breakpoints should go empty (red circles instead of red discs). Then as Grasshopper loads your GHA file, they…"

Noob Ribbon Trouble

I taking first steps with custom components but I am having a problem:The component is not loading into its specified ribbon tab: MyBase.New("TestComponent", "ghTest", "Test Component", "Paramsx", "Specialx") I'm sure everything else follows the directives in the SDK help file and the bin path is added to the Developer settings path list. I'm sure I'm missing something basic.Any help to get me going would be appreciated.(Rhino 4 SR8, VS 2010, WIN7)See More
