Increase the shell thicknis

Hello,I`ve created a shell structure in karamba+grasshopper, i want the thickniss of the shell to increase when i approche the supports. Is this possible? Regards JeroenContinue

"Yes, i wanted to create holes in the surface, but i want the position of the holes be dependent from the isolines. So i create holes in the surface but only on the places where the material is the less needed for the construction.   Regards"

"it's easily avoided when just replacing the model-view component by a new one or alternatively playing around with the id's you feed in.. i dont really know which one didnt have the bug. a release version is not currently there."

"depending on the version of karamba there is a bug in the id-handling of the model view, this is being fixed at the moment. generally the best way is to avoid those singularities. e.g. by inserting two spring-beams on each corner of your shell that…"

my id modelview works on the displacement, but not on the princ stress

Hello,I only want to see the stress results in the top of my shell structure. I splitt the mesh in 2 ID`s, when i want to view only one ID it works on the displacement, but it isn`t working on the stress princ. Does anyone know what i do wrongSee the attachement Regards JeroenSee More
