I am trying to connect grasshopper with ecotect as well. I have come to point where i read excel data generated by ecotect in GH and then adjust my geometry accordingly. Then again I export model to ecotect etc. etc.

- eduard, I can send you the grasshopper > ecotect interface if you are keen to research a DLL interface with both softwares. The only way that a connection can be made seamlessly is if a system command is run to talk directly to the ecotect server in LUA script - no other way possible as it pulls up dialog boxes within ecotect. data can be sent to ecotect, a simulation made and then information can be returned to a database that grasshopper continually seeks information from.
