Trimming surfaces

Hi everybody, I trimmed a surface with some curves with the vb script suplied by vicente soler in a previous thread, now what i've trying to do is to divide the resulting trimmed surfaces in to more surfaces using the subsurface and int2, however, the trimmed parts of the surface reappear.in the same thread the same question was asked , 2 solutions(also by vicente) came up. they were to include either the center of each surface or the 4 corners; however, as you can see in the imagethese will…See More

I think that's just a problem with the meshing in grasshopper that as David has said before it's done very poorly so that the calculations in grasshopper are done faster, try baking it and see if the problem was solved, if not i'm not…

Here's another thread about the same problem: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/inset-command-in-grasshopper Just increase the mesh quality of the baked object and the opening will appear again.

Looks like a meshing bug to me. Grasshopper uses extremely low mesh settings because it needs to generate a lot of them in a short amount of time, but once you bake something the BRep is meshed according to document settings. Can I see the geometry?

Weird baking bug

HI guys, i ran into a problem i don't even know, it may be unrelated to grasshopper, i don't think so though. I was wondering if anyone has gone through something like this. I have an extruded brep that has holes in it, the holes are made into a surface before extruding it, it works fine until I bake it, then a very strange thing happens. As you can see in the image, form one side of the brep you can see right through the holes, however when i rotate the view it seems caped. i tried many things…See More
