Problem using an external assembly

So, we've got kind of a weird setup, which I'll explain in a bit.  The immediate problem we're getting is when we're trying to use an external assembly in our grasshopper component, it doesn't run,…Continue

T-Splines and Grasshopper - useful together?

So, I'm a developer for T-Splines.  I've been looking at Grasshopper to see how T-Splines and Grasshopper can be used together.  One simple way I've seen them used together is to panel T-Splines  on…Continue

Here's what I'd suggest - use an L-system to produce the skeleton of the curve, and then the tsPipe command (or there is a pipe component in grasshopper, but it's still pretty limited compared to the command).   Sorry for my slow…

Could you post the skeleton of the shape you're trying to make?  Just some Nurbs curves so I can get a clear idea of the basic topology..

This isn't what you asked for, but I think the t-splines pipe component gives nice results  (I'm somewhat biased.. :)

I've seen a couple of threads about this here.  What exactly is the restriction against Voronoi?  I mean, you could hand-roll a bubble system that will give you very similar results to Voronoi, but then you've just got a slow,…

Hi Tom,   that's all. You could also choose to define the MorphVector, but if you don't Rhino will just morph two nearby points and thus approximate the vector deformation.   -- David Rutten david@mcneel.com Poprad, Slovakia

Creating a SpaceMorph

I was thinking about making a component that applies a deformation to geometry. It seems like subclassing Rhino.Geometry.SpaceMorph is the way to go.Do I need to do anything other than implement MorphPoint? That seems sufficient for morphing with PreserveStructure=true, but it seems almost too easy to get morphing of the surface to within tolerance..See More
