Hiding wires

Is it possible to have an option to toggle "Hide All Wire Display" ?Sometimes while arranging, naming or having an aerial view of the mess ;) it helps sometimes if the wires are invisible.Continue

Brep Join

I used Brep Join and even though I get the right output (a closed solid) I can not see a preview of it but only the edges as a wireframe. Bug or other reasons?Thank you all. MarcoContinue

Mark replied to amir's discussion option for viewing only "Locally defined values"? (from rhino)
"You could rebuild them in GH by their "point coordinates" and keep them in GH for good if you don't need to move them around or modify them. I do that a lot to make my definitions as "Portable" as possible."

Mark replied to Andres Gonzalez's discussion Is there a way to LOCK the position of all Para & Components on the Canvas?
"Maybe the Group feature could have a lock option like freezing the position of the components within the group. It's like a switch: Lock/Unlock so at least we have a limited localized control. When you finish working on a group you can lock it…"

Mark replied to Conor Black's discussion Sliders question...

Sliders....

Hi David,I know I asked this before but thinking back to this I like to ask again but on a more simple approach. Is there any way, as to the current development stage, to control the Low and High values remotely? This allows relationships, between several parts of the model, to interact in order to funnel user's input within parameters set by the designer which needs to change extremely often and, having the Slider display the digits, would also guide the user in making sub sequential…See More

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the nice comment about my website. I haven't updated it in years.. really need to  do something with it. I used to work closely with a company that was the US reseller for ArtCAM, so I did a lot of work in it several years ago, but Rhino has always been a mainstay for me. I've been doing a lot of my NURBS modeling in MoI3d, but always go back to Rhino for the more advanced operations..the nice thing is you can cut and paste a 3dm file between the two programs, so it's a seamless compatibility. However, I've recently decided I need to dig into Rhino 5 and get as up to date as I can with it, and make an effort to learn more about Grasshopper. I've employed some scripting for Rhino from stuff I've gathered from the Rhino NG,

but it's never been my strength, so GH is going to be a challenge for sure, but the potential is so vast that I think it's definitely worth the learning curve.

Would you have any recommendations as to how I might get started with GH?  I know...Read the tutorials and practice, practice, practice..ask questions and then ask more questions..:-) I feel so stupid when I have to learn something new from the beginning, but what other choice it there?
