Surface Isotrim on a revolution surface returns non-identical surfaces

Hi everyone, I have a quick question.I'm using the Isotrim component to divide a revolution surface in 22 radial surfaces. I'm doing the usual thing, namely using divide domain2 and then dividing the surface. It is doing the work, but the different surfaces have different dimensions, and that's something I would've not expected with a revolution surface (which is supposed to have radial symmetry right?).Info about the surface:1 - The revolution surface's profile is a straight line joined to an…See More

Curve topology modified after planar offseting

Hi everyone! I'm having some trouble offsetting a curve, basically because its topology is changing (e.g: it has more points and segments after the offset operation) and that is giving me problems with a loft operation later on. I've read some topics in the forum regarding offsetting, but it seems that no one have had this…See More

Trying to pick GH referenced objects by their "original" layer

Hi everyone, I'm trying to pick some objects according to the layer of the rhino object from which they were referenced into GH, but I'm not succeeding.  I've been looking for a while for a GH definition or scripting component that does this, but I haven't been able to find one. So what I have is:A lot of groups referenced into grasshopper. The groups (and the geometry they contain) are being moved in the viewport, and then ungrouped. At that point, I would like to know to what layer those…See More

Millipede

Millipede is a structural analysis and optimization component for grasshopper. It allows for very fast linear elastic analysis of frame and shell elements in 3d, 2d plate elements for in plane forces, and 3d volumetric elements. All systems can be optimized using built in topology optimization methods and have their results extracted and visualized in a variety of ways.In addition millipede implements a few basic geometric features [extraction of iso surface meshes from volumetric scalar fields…See More
