Equal subdivision of surface

Hi all, I am trying to apply geometry to a surface, but when the surface is subdivided, some areas are very dense, whilst, others are not so. Is there any way around this? Ideally I would like all the subdivisions to be approximately the same shape CheersSee More

"Hi John,   the file as you posted requires 1.1GB of memory. At some point you'll simply run out of memory (especially on 32 bit systems) and it will crash.   Your final object creates 40,000 breps. I think this is a mistake, but…"

Grasshopper keeps crashing

Hi, I am new to grasshopper. I am trying to make a component to populate a surface, and I have looked at several tutorials which show how to subdivide a surface and add your own geometry to it. My definition works when I have a low numbe rof definitions, but when I try to increase it, say to 100, the file keeps crashing. Is there anything I can do about this? I'm sure there is a more efficient way to do what I've done, I'm just not sure how! CheersSee More

Hi All, I am trying to model an adjustable roof system made up from one foldable an extendable component. I would like to add real life parameters to the component so I can model how each component would articulate and thus how the whole system would behave in real life I  would like to do something similar to the image shown below.…See More
