Hi everyone, I made a wind-facade but somehow the louvre doesn't moves independently. I was wondering if it is possible to make the wind load non-uniform, e.g. generating the wind-load random as…Continue

Kangaroo_tesegrity structure: elongation and strain

Hallo Daniel,I have tried the tensegrity-structure example file and noticed the struts getting shorter; I know theoretically it somehow happen to compression parts. But the strain about 30 cm…Continue

"Hi Jon, It should work in both 32 and 64bit. I know there are sometimes issues with custom goals and the COFF loading option though. Have you tried switching this (from GrasshopperDeveloperSettings on the Rhino command line)?"

"Hi Daniel, This component running very well in Rhino 64bit, but recently I have to use it in Rhino 32bit. It seems a problem to manage assembly in rhino 32 bit. I was wondering if the costum goal can only be used…"

"Hi Daniel, many thanks for your custom goal again. I can tell that it works really much better and could be controlled rational! As you mentioned about, that in some origami case we need actual collision prevention between non-adjacent faces. I…"

"Testing this out - I managed to make a flapping bird starting from a flat mesh just using the grab tool: It was a bit fiddly, and when multiple layers stack up there are still some collision issues, but I think it is promising. Probably it would…"
