"Hi Andrew, I have the same problem, but with a little difference. I want to extrude my hexagon surface normal (like the upper image) and it should end on another surface, i can do an offset and then trim with the extrusion surface? Thanks to all…"

Andrew Heumann replied to El Ger's discussion EXTRUDE PROBLEM. HELP!
"Try a surface offset instead of an extrude. Extrude will always be along a single vector, whereas offset follows the surface normal locally. See the image below for a way of connecting the surface with its offset in order to produce a solid. "

EXTRUDE PROBLEM. HELP!

Hi everyone! I have an extrude problem:As you see in the attached pic.1 I tried to extrude my hexagonal morph. I found out how to do this just in one direction (pic.2). But how can I extrude so that the thickness is equal in all directions? So to say, that the extrude is always perpendicular to my origin surface? Help! It would be great if someone could make a screenshot or explain it so that me, beginner would understand. THANK YOU!See More
