How do you animate a GH model with Bongo. The problem i see is the baked model doesn't feed off of anything outside of rhino when i want to change parameters to give it the video/motion effect.Continue

There is a "flip curve" or "reverse curve" component, and you can input a guide curve, so just put them all through the reverse curve component, and use the first curve as the guide curve.

Data Points Flip Flop

Say i have two rows of points:xoxooxoxi need the x's to align properly and the o's to align properly:xxxxoooohow do i do this.More in depth i am evaluating a curve length and when i evaluate the set of curves at the "0.0" length, it is flip flopped:x  x  x  x  xand vise versa with the evaluation at "1.0"and i need to know how to flip them over again.See More

SO if this is the naughty way, what is the "righteous" way?

Vicente Soler actually posted an all gh definition for a marching cubes type approach ages ago on the old forum. It was slow, but very impressive to be done without any scripting. I've messed around on and off with scripting a 'marching…

Hi Derek, a single 3D Metaball surface can have any genus, and thus you will never be able to loft or patch a single nurbs surface through a set of metaball sections. Metaballs are practically always represented as polygonal meshes or Voxel…

Solid Metaball?

Ive been expiramenting with the simple functions of the metaball. Since it is only in a 2d state is there anyway of making a 3d metaball drivien by the same points used to make the 2d? Attached is a range of planes making what looks like 3d metaballs but i cannot seem to make them a solid surface... no lofting or curve networking fetures work on rhino.See More

It doesn't look like he has updated the component since v43 was released all the Explicit History (EH) references need to be changed to GH. Try this file instead:

Hi Derek, I use Grasshopper and Bongo together, but there are limitations. If you are happy with a Rhino viewport rendering than you can use bongo to drive a referenced point, every time the point is moved in Rhino GH will update. I use it like a…
