you can use a intersection between you geometry and multiple planes.. Taz made a nice grillage definition but its a little advance for a beginner user: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/grillage-fabrication-1

Noob learning: Contour lines on a surface to place solids to have solid difference

If I make a group of surfaces from a group of points is there a way that I can call on just one surface in particular?Is there a way to simulate the Rhino tool "contour lines" using GH? And if you can, is there a way to control where the contour lines exist on the surface and their relative distance?Is there a way to have a group of rail curves and a group of section curves to go into one sweep function?See More
