Hi,I think there is a very simple solution for this, however I am not terribly adept at grasshopper. I have this definition of how to create lattice columns that resemble those used in Toyo Ito's…Continue

"You need to trim the spaceframe to the surface outline. For flat surfaces, you could RInt (region intersect) each subsurface with the outline. But that will raise the question of how to deal with results with more than 4 corners. On a side note...…"

Irregular Space Frame

Hi,Im very new to Grasshopper and could use some help!Im trying to generate a space frame to an irregular surface. All of the definitions I have come across will only seem to generate a rectilinear space frame and seem to ignore that the surface I have input through the component is not a rectangle. Does anyone have any ideas of how I can better define the space frame Im looking for?I have attached my surface and the space frame definition i was given belowMany Thanks!…See More

"The first "Slider" slider controls the amount of horizontal displacement to the rings. The expression in input A is obviously flawed since it fixes A to -2.2 and overrides any input from the slider. So by fixing this expression and pulling…"

Sendai Mediatheque Columns

Hi,I think there is a very simple solution for this, however I am not terribly adept at grasshopper. I have this definition of how to create lattice columns that resemble those used in Toyo Ito's Sendai Mediatheque building. I am happy with 90% of this definition however I do not want the distortion to occur that shifts the column from being completely vertical. Which parts of the definition need altering to produce a perfectly vertical column, without losing the ability to control the radius,…See More

"this is not a case for longest list. The closest point knows its outputting one point per. So "i" can only match one item."
