Using K2 as an Engineering Design Tool

At Format we like to play with Kangaroo...

We recently completed a net/tent project where K2 was used as both a form-finding and early-stage design tool.

Kangaroo enables geometry investigations but we are excited to see the tool reaching a point where it is genuinely useful for engineering applications as well.

Many others besides ourselves are working on this topic of applying K2 to engineering applications and we are looking forward to the coming year!

- We encourage anyone who is interested in taking part in this area of research to check the cluster list when it is announced! Some of Format's friends have submitted a proposal for further investigating K2 as a design tool and we have our fingers crossed that it is accepted.

- We are excited to be industrial supervisor for some an upcoming research project at DTU that will specifically investigate this topic.
