Modeling a parametric rosette with Grasshopper

In this Grasshopper video tutorial, you'll learn to define a custom rosette oriented normal to any surface. Use of referenced geometry, vector analysis and index culling are among the techniques covered in this lesson.

I have a question Brian,

I am a new learner of Rhino and GH but I have a lot of experience working with 3Ds max-Vray. I just want to know, how to reverse curves in rhino like i can do in 3ds max creating nurbs, and how to change a curve's first point or start point in rhino specially when I assign that curve to a GH icon of curve.

  Many Thanks in advance

Very funny... I do call myself Brain but only when I misspell my own name. I'm glad the video was interesting.

You should call yourself Brain instead of Brian! ;)

I'll assume you're using the surface normals as a vector in order to adjust the position of the surface frames. If you have already done this, then it sounds like the value for the offset is too large and should be scaled down. If you send me your definition, I can also take a look. brian(dot)james(at)mcneel(dot)com

Thanks for this video.  I tried this with the latest grasshopper on a rail surface, but for some reason it is offsetting the rossette way away from the surface.  Any ideas?  I've tried grafting and flattening at points, but no success...

Brian, we would love if you could post these at www.gjd3d.com too!
