algorithmic modeling for Rhino

This Yupo polypropylene panel was lasercut from a Rhino Grasshopper script that that adjusts the panel proportions and size of slit openings. It is a variant of a Miura-Ori herringbone pattern in which some of the corners are slit to catch the light. This is part of the Shaping Light project to examine how origami folding can be used for architectural shading devices.
