there are many ways of doing it.. one way my friend here has done buy laser cutting aluminum and bending it on the joints..

the other way is to sandwich fabric between laser cut aluminum/ acrylic/wood triangles
option 1 is very hard to do
option 2 ( fabric ) is the right way to go..
