I'm working on a project and I am implementing Millipede's topology optimisation. I'm having some issues getting it to run inside the boundary I want. I would really appreciate it if you could help me out on this! You can email me at Thanks!

I'm trying to use topostruct3D, but I noticed that if I change the direction loads, results don't change...Do you have an idea what am I doing wrong?

Thank you so much!!

Thank you so much!

Millipede March 2014 Release

new release of Millipede is now available:

new features include:

1. support for reparameterization of surfaces and the ability to produce vector field aligned patterns over any mesh. Works well with principal stress results from the structural analysis module

2. eigen mode analysis and filtering for mesh deformation and reconstruction.

3. multiple…

Millipede beta for grasshopper released

Millipede is a structural analysis and optimization component for grasshopper. It allows for very fast linear elastic analysis of frame and shell elements in 3d, 2d plate elements for in plane forces, and 3d volumetric elements. All systems can be optimized using built in topology optimization methods and have their results extracted and visualized in a variety of ways.

In addition millipede implements a few basic geometric features [extraction of iso surface meshes from volumetric…
