Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Whole roof structure generated from a single master surface. Then parameters continuously updated, eg: number of members in U V, width/depth of each element etc...
If we changed the shape of the roof, simply input a new master surface at the start of the GH definition.

This begs for the diagonal members in each truss. Good job.

We proposed all timber gridshell, similar to our Savill building a couple of miles away, using the locally grown timber. Think we did consider steel spacers in-between the 2 layers of gridshell at one point, but didn't go ahead with it.
