Hello again Bernd,

It works fine with 0.0.056.0. When I do update to the latest one I will let you know.

Hi Marios,

i think this is due to the new boolproblem GH version.

http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/solid-intersection-1?comm...
Manually in Rhino works the bool command perfectly (with the GH BReps from your definition).
Have you tested your file in the latest version of GH and have you also Boolen the error?

GH 9.0062 an latest RH 5

Me and a friend made a triangle based waffle a year or two ago, we found that the waffle was really weak due to the thinness of the connections. A good solution was to use an offset triangle grid, (quarter-iso grid) that maintains the three directions but doesn't have three strips crossing in a single place.

@ Bernd

There might be a series of reasons for that.

  • if you are not using the geometry provided then it could be that some of the values used for safety reasons in the definition need some adjustment.(so that the soon to be boolean-ed geometries actually have some volume intersection)
  •  or a rhino tolerance reason. please check your units (meters with tolerances 0,01 and 0,1 for me)
  • least probable is a data matching missmatch

You can send me the file if you like.

in version 0.9.0062 and RH 5 last version our examplefile shows in all solid Difference commands errors (Boolean Difference is empty)?

Do you have ideas?
