because I can change the parameters that define each root and the shape of the top of the tooth. Why? Because I've been 3d printing teeth and thought it would be fun to model one!

Yeah Weaverbird Catmull Clark.

It's a Starling 3dHull with the top morphed downwards and three legs made from polygons along their centrelines and a 3dHull on each end. All the shared faces removed, welded together and weaverbirded!

Nice! Catmull clark? How did the coarse mesh look like?
