Hi Angel..

looks great. is this 3 dimentional?

if yes how did you define the bBox for the field boundry?

thanks

To break the linearity I've only play with values and charges position. The attractor system is quite similar to your idea: divide lines (perhaps using curvature to brake them more or less could be a good approach), attract points and rebuild curves.

Hey Angel,

more or less I figuered out how the fields are working. but i still have a problem to break the linearity of the lines after a positive piont charge, like in the two left piont charge voids in your right example. also I am wondering how you integrated the attractor.Did you divided the curves, modified them and then recreated new curves?

Thanks,

K.

Hullo karla,

It's only a vector field made with standard GH components. Using field stream lines to draw lofted surfaces could give you the same result. The only complicate thing is to pick curves in couples and arrange it in the same paths to make the loft component work properly. I've no time now to upload a tutorial about this to the blog, but I'm planing in near-mid future upload several ones.

Best.

Hallo Angel,

I am trying to devide/split up a surface under specific corcumstances into an irregular pattern/devision. not sure yet how it should be. I am just at the beginning. Your 'the filed's Gills' creates a beautiful asthetics and i am wondering of you could share your definition with me, that i can understand the logic of it. I am still quite new to grasshopper and not familiar with all tools. For example I am not shure what a spin is. If you could let me have a look at it, this would be great.

Thanks a lot,

K.
