algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Sol Grotto was a 2012 temporary exhibition in the University of California Botanical Garden by Rael San Fratello architects. The light curtain was made of 1368 Solyndra tubes calibrated to create an undulating surface. GH was used to design the placement of the rods, control the CNC fabrication, and guide the length calibration.

Very nice.
Each tube has some light LED light source at it's opposite end (opposite from the front - seen by user, surface)?
