algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Never use fibreboard! :-) Project feb-march I wanted to share.. The most difficult for me was to script the structure to come back to itself. Stop counting! When that was finally solved I got a backlash from reality. The fibreboard was too heavy to bear its own load. It collapsed hours before the opening. Had to come back with my friends to finish it with new parts. Considering there was no budget to begin with I really almost got bankrupt with this one.. Thanks for watching. Cheers, J

Hi Djordje,

Thanks you.

For the second version I used MDF which is also not very suitable. But I didn't have more money so..

I posted another project (jasperniens.com/ioud) that is similar in technique (also without the use of screws or nails) and for that one I got a sponsordeal for sandwich material. Wood / Aluminum honeycomb / Wood , that worked a lot better since it's light-weight and very strong.

Very nice Jasper.
What material did you use for the second version of the structure?
