Hey Phil, did you get some results with wind addition?
Ilona, nice definition :)

I use Octopus as you said, because we can optimize with multi objectives, and i did some tests to compare Galapagos and Octopus, and it seems like Galapagos optimize the average number of differents objectives. I've write my master thesis about the environmental multicriteria optimizations, and usually, you can define the objective according to environmental criterias (concerning the daylight for instance, in the environmental certifications, they say you have to obtain at least 2% of light factor in 80% of the room).Tell me if you find something interesting using wind datas ;)

thankyou so much!! you can't imagine how much you helped me. i know those components, but untill now i didn't know how to use that values to achive my goal... i've seen your script, it is really easy and well done, i'll study it to add wind data.

one question was why octopus instead if galapagos, but i've already seen that you can use multi-objectives, instead with galapagos only one... other reasons i don't know?
thank you again.

Hi, I didn't work with wind direction, but there is some components you can use in Ladybug (you can find all these informations here: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/group/ladybug). Anyway I post the definition of this picture, maybe it could help you.

Hi I would like to work on a definition like yours, starting analizing sunlight and wind direction to obtain an optimized form with the less energy consumption as possible. could you give me some tips to set the work as your? thank you so much
