algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Starting from a sphere and reducing its volume while keeping the surface area and preventing self-intersection produces some nice buckling patterns.

Floating point error accumulation ?

One thing I found surprising about this is that there are no random variables used, and the starting configuration is symmetrical. Yet it still buckles into these very asymmetrical shapes.
