Hello RY
i think your way is the better than mine or even the same. I tried creating the definition on a cilindrical surface but i got lot of problems since im not grasshopper pro user. So i created the pattern with GH on a flat surface i extruded it (just one slice), copied "n" (number of slices) times and then i flowed it on the surface.
If u have more question let me know.

thank you for comment!

Hello,

first of all, beautiful, beautiful work.

I've been working on patterns similar to this for some time, however, once I start making them 3 dimensional via planar surfaces and extrusions the definition becomes very heavy. I'm interested in how you approached you definition to achieve this design. It could be that I'm not approaching this idea in the proper way.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
