try "extrude point" instead of "extrude" - and then just cut part you don't need

Hello Guys,

I'm also bizzy playing around with facet dome. I see that all of you also playing around with it.
Question: How did you make your extrude?

My problem is that my extrude follows the normal of each facet.

Simple way is the best way and that's why I like using facet dome

Oh wow. I hadn't really investigated the new components in that tab. That facet thing is super easy in conjunction with the point cloud. Here's a silly render:

Hi Chris, yes facet are planar.
key part of diagram:
1. general hexagonal pattern (using new feature of version 0.6.0059) that give me coordinates of single points
2. recalculation of coordinates so they fit to reparameterized surface
3. using evaluate surface to produce points with hexagonal character on surface
4. using facet dome to generate lines

Maybe it is possible to use much more easier way to generate points on surface (divide surface etc.) and then just use facet dome. In this case it was about playing with hexagonal pattern. Who knows how it will look with orthogonal pattern...

It is all about using facet dome so I think you can do it by your own.
