hi, i am currently making a case study out of the serpentine pavilion of siza using grasshopper.

Ersa: This structure was very much indeed inspired by the Siza Pavillion!

 

First i did a flat 2D grid with the grid shape. Then i morphed it onto 2 other surfaces (a top-bottom or inside-outside relation between these two surfaces one might call it).

 

From these 3D gridlines i then built the shape of the units, giving them little "arms" that extended into the other pieces by using some plane/vector calculations based on each lines direction. I never really "defined" the intersections. I used an intersection component, checking each piece towards all the others, finding where they should have holes :)

can you explain me about the script of this project?

I think this project has the similar system with Serpentine Gallery Pacillion by Alvaro Siza. I use Alvaro Siza's project as my case study. But I dont know how to define the position of the joint.
