Daniel, is there any way to keep the hexagons more similar looking * all the same like the parameter slider in the lunchbox component? and how/where would you adjust that in kangaroo 2

thanks for all your work !

Thank you very much, Daniel !!!

@Sergey - this error is usually caused by an outdated .net framework. Try installing 4.5.1 (not the 4.6 preview) from here:

(assuming you are using Windows 8.1)

I tried PlanarHex example, but Solver component is red - message - "Int32 System.Environment.get_CurrentManagedThreadId()". What did I do wrong?

Hello Daniel: this is amazing, but im curious, it is possible to achieve similar results using kangaroo "1"?

many thanks,

Hi Kim,

The ratio of U/V divisions need to be chosen so that the initial edge lengths are close to equal.

When planarizing, particularly with hexagons, we need to ensure that the polygons do not become self intersecting. Here this is achieved by constraining the maximum and minimum edge lengths to some ratio of the overall average edge length. For this to work though, it helps if the initial state has them within or close to this range.

If you turn on the visibility of the rest of the definition it probably helps to see how it is working.

Hi Daniel,

I've the same problem of Kim hauer... maybe we need to change something in your definition to run. Thanks in advance!

Hi Daniel:

FYI, when I change the U or V in the panel connected to the Hex cell comp it breaks the script

Hi Daniel and dvdrbls: my bad. I forgot to Unblock. K2.01  is working great.
